Austin Warehouse Post-Filming Southwest Corner
The Southwest Corner of the Austin Warehouse after the building had been returned to its original condition in late May/June 2005. The landscaping that was added for the filming of the series along the Front of the building has been removed along with the "Austin" neon sign on top of the building and the roof mounted spotlight which shined down on the Front Ramp. The decorative lights around the Front Porch have also been removed. In this picture, you can see that cars are now parking in the spaces on East 3rd Street which were occupied by the gravel garden. On the San Jacinto Boulevard side of the building, all of the landscaping has been removed and the gravel garden now longer disguises the Loading Dock. On the Loading Dock, the plastic sheeting which created Patio has been removed. The only renovations to the exterior of the building for the filming of the series that remains are the two globe lights on the Loading Dock, which were inside the Patio. With the plastic sheeting removed, you can now see the two exterior doors which were used as entrances into the Patio. While the building remains the color that it was painted for the filming of the series, it looks very plain without all of the additional landscaping.
