Former Seamen's Church Institute
Post Filming
The Former Seamen's Church Institute Building as it appeared on 10/23/04. A visitor to the building would be able to look in the windows and see that the interior of the building is still decorated in the same manner it was during the filming of the show. All of the interior furnishings that were used in the production of the show remain in the building. This is very different from all other former Real World houses, as the interior is immediately returned to it's original condition and all of the furnishings are sold or returned to their creators soon after production has ended.

Looking at the building from the corner of 3rd and Arch Street, you can see that very little has changed. The exterior lights that were added to accentuate the building and illuminate the Merchant Seamens Center sign have not been removed.

The 3rd Street side of the building. As you can see, the flower boxes that were added for the show remain on the building. In this picture, you can also see through the tinted windows that the drapes are still hanging from the windows.

The front door has been vandalized by fans of the show, who might have used this web site to find the location of the house!

The exterior of the building after production on the series had ended. The exterior lights that were installed to accent the buildings features for the filming of the show remain and many of the interior lights are on at night as well.
