Former Blue Crab Restaurant Post-Filming Confessional Room

The Confessional Room in the Former Blue Crab Restaurant on 7/20/2004 after the building had been returned to its original condition. In this picture that was taken from the entrance to the Guest Bedroom, you can see that the door to the Confessional Room has been removed.

Inside the Confessional Room after the building had been returned to its original condition. If you look closely at the baseboard, you can still see the gold paint from the design that was painted on the back wall for the filming of the series. The Confessional Room was a lot smaller than I imagined that it would be. If you take a look at the second picture on the Blue Crab Restaurant Dining Room page, you can see on the right side of the picture that the Confessional Room was renovated in an area that was occupied by booths in the Dining Room. What you never see in the series is that the overhang above the booths still remains inside the Confessional Room. What became quickly apparent when I was inside the House was that when they were renovating the building for the filming of the series, it was being constructed as a set for a television show, and that items that would not be seen on TV were not removed. The 1st floor still looked like the Dining Room of the Blue Crab Restaurant, but with walls constructed to divide it into smaller rooms.
