Paris Chateau Information:
The four-story 5,382 square foot Chateau was built in 1869 and is located in Le Vesinet, a commune of France in the western suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 10.2 miles from the center of Paris.
Le Vesinet is one of the wealthiest suburbs of Paris, known for its wooded avenues and bourgeois mansions built around boating lakes and English-Style gardens. Le Vesinet is served by two stations on Paris RER line A: Le Vesinet - Centre and Le Vesinet - Le Pecq.
In some of the rooms of the Chateau, fake walls were built to protect 18 karat gilding on the original surfaces. The Chateau includes a wine cellar in an area that was not renovated for the filming of the series.
